My name is Alexandru and I am an artist of many beginnings. My work emerges from rupture, from recovery, from the quiet labour of healing. I make form from feeling. I turn the unseen into something you can hold. My art is not a decoration. It is a declaration. It is a protest against the structures of oppression.
Make Mind Matter is both method and message. It is transformation through process, and attention through presence. It begins in silence, in struggle, in the private weight of thought. It becomes a shared space for recognition, reflection and release.
I work with what has been discarded; the materials buried deep beneath the surface of our awareness. I reassemble the challenging into something that holds meaning again. In doing so, I recover not only objects, but parts of myself, and parts of us.
My art is for everyone, and it speaks profoundly of the unseen. The other. Of those who have sat in silence, whose truths were too heavy, too strange, too much. I make work to say: your mind matters. I am witness.
I believe in beauty that is subjective. In courage as a daily practice. In language that holds space rather than conflict. In art as a healer. In reflection without spectacle. In making as a form of resistance and care. Awards, notoriety and fame are flattery, not goals. The reward is in the making, and its name is Freedom.
This is a living practice, a room without doors. It is an invitation to feel more, to fear less, to meet each other at the edge of what’s bearable and create something new from there. From the other side.
Come.
